Kids Cooking – Make a Pizza (FREE)

Learn how to make a quick, customizable homemade pizza with your family!

Due to COVID-19, this class is being offered for free online. Registered participants will be emailed the recipe along with details to join the virtual class via Zoom the day before the class and again as a reminder 1 hour before class begins. _______________________________________________

Join Midwest Food Connection to make a quick, customizable pizza with your kid(s) and family completely from scratch! Together, we will make a quick, no-yeast pizza crust and learn to flavor even the simplest sauce with both fresh and dried herbs and spices. As we cook, we’ll discuss the difference between herbs and spices, where some of them come from, and how you can train your taste buds to detect even the most subtle flavors! ​

For this class, you’ll just need a computer or phone to connect to Zoom.

If you’d like to cook alongside River, please review the recipe and ingredient list, and make sure to have the ingredients set out along with the following materials:

• Rolling pin
• Mixing bowl
• Mixing spoon
• Fork
• Parchment paper
• Pizza pan or cookie sheet
