Flamingo Gardens – Harvest Festival Themed Weekends

Fall into the spirit of the Autumn season during the Harvest Festival at Flamingo Gardens featuring a different theme each weekend. The four weekend festival features free hayrides from 10 am – 4pm, pumpkin patch and free decorating station, theme costume contests, bounce houses, live character interactions, “The Movie Garden: Scary Plants in the Movies” exhibit in the Gallery, DJ Digital Anarchy spinning your favorite songs, games, crafts and activities, food and more for the whole family.

Funding for this project is provided in part by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council.

October 5 & 6 – 9:30am – 4:00pm – The 10th Annual Great Scarecrow Competition

​Scarecrows take over the arboretum for guests to vote on, along with scarecrow characters to meet and greet and fall activities.

October 12 & 13 – 9:30am – 4:00pm – Pirates & Princesses Weekend

Talk like a pirate and sing like a princess as live characters bring fairytales to life with performances and meet & greets for guests to enjoy

October 19 & 20 – 9:30am – 4:00pm – Superheroes & Villains Weekend

See your favorite superheroes and villains in action with live characters to meet & greet. Play superhero games to see if you have what it takes to be a superhero and defeat the bad guys.

October 26 & 27 – 9:30am – 4:00pm – Halloween Weekend

Set the Halloween mood with special spooky presentations, trick or treating in the gardens, scavenger hunt and costumed friends to meet & greet. The Good Witches and their spooky animal friends visit Sunday, October 27.
