Build Your Own Trick or Treat Game for Halloween Game using Scratch Coding

Ages 8-12

Length of the lesson: 1 hour

Halloween is around the corner! Why not make it SUPER FUN by creating a game to play and share with your friends. Collect Halloween candies and avoid the dangerous items. During this 1 hour lesson, students will design and create a Trick or Treat experience for friends and family.

Students will learn some great basic game design concepts. This class uses the Scratch Programming platform. It is recommended that students already have some experience with Scratch and have an account they can use for the class. If you do not have a Scratch account, instructions will be sent about creating one.
