The South Florida Science Center in partnership with Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, Wounded Veterans Relief Fund, and Project 425 is celebrating Veterans, Active Duty Military, First Responders and their families.
To salute the Hometown Heroes, the South Florida Science Center will:
- Open 1 hour early for Hometown Heroes,
- Have Military vehicle demos and exploration,
- Have a meet and greet with local armed forces,
- Show K-9 training demonstrations,
- Have mini golf & live science shows,
- Have a BBQ for Heroes and their families, and
- And more!
Free admission for Heroes with valid ID and up to 4 guests. Advanced registration is required at SFSciencecenter.org/Heroes.
Event opens to the public and members at 10am and is included with regular general admission. Snack Shack and a food truck will be open to sell lunch, snacks and refreshments to the public.
Safety guidelines such as mask-wearing inside and social-distancing outside will be enforced. The Science Center is now proud to be GBAC STAR™ accredited by the ISSA – The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association.
