This week join Dr. Angela Colbert, Knight VP of Education, Frost Science as we discuss hurricanes. Hurricanes are massive storms with swirling winds, drenching rain, and damaging storm surge. With recent storms leaving their mark in history, breaking records for both storm strength and total rainfall, that leaves many people asking one question, are hurricanes getting worse?
Travel around the world to explore the science of hurricanes, including how and where they form, key factors that determine where they go, and conditions that determine how strong they get. Then, discover how scientists study these dangerous phenomena and what the science is saying about future impacts for coastlines around the world.
