MCC Junior Chef Challenge – Ages 9 to 13

Create meals from scratch using mystery ingredients. in the MCC Junior Chef Challenge with Junior Chef Randy. Held at the Miramar Cultural Center.

How The MCC Junior Chef Challenge Will Work

Tweens and Teens join up with MCC Chef Randy to make a meal from ingredients that kids have chosen. Kids will choose any one food item/ingredient at time of booking/reservation. Total of 8 kids will pick a total of 8 ingredients. When kids arrive, the 8 ingredients will be presented. Participants will not know what the other kids have selected at time of choosing. Kids will then work with Chef to develop a recipe/menu or dish, based on the 8 ingredients and will then begin hands-on cooking. The kids will be required to eat whatever they make and critique at the end of the session.
