These go-karts don’t reach speeds nearly as fast as gas-powered karts but are great fun nonetheless. Families can enjoy an afternoon of indoor go-karting with a wide selection of food that isn’t just hamburgers and pizza.

They also have ample space for private birthday parties for kids, teens, and adults with packages that are offered. They also rent their private room space for meetings or events of all kinds.

This is a dedicated outdoor track that’s meant for go-kart enthusiasts who are serious about racing and competition. They allow you to bring your own kart and also have kart storage available. They also feature complete repair services and training for go-kart drivers. If you decide to rent a kart, they’ll provide one for your racing fun. It’s also another great spot for young go-kart racers to get racing experience.

It’s not a fun park atmosphere, so the racetrack and services are a lot closer to the professional go-cart race tracks than you’ll experience at other go-kart parks.

Miami GP Raceway (Opa-Locka, FL)

The Miami GP Raceway is more advanced for serious go-kart racers but mixes plenty of soft competition for general go-kart racing. They’ve put a lot of effort into their location to include facilities for birthdays and celebrations making it perfect for those who want an outdoor track that’s nearly a professional level. They also allow night racing with lighting that will give go-kart racers a totally different race experience.

You can bring your own helmet but private karts are not allowed. All helmets must be rated DOT otherwise you’ll be supplied with one of their recommended racing helmets.

This is another location where you’ll find another indoor K1 Speed track. The layout is identical to the Medley location and is also air-conditioned. All of their vehicles are battery powered so no gas-powered karts are being used. These karts will reach speeds close to gas-powered karts but without the noise that gas-powered karts make. They include a lounge area for kids and adults to enjoy a great variety of sensible foods and snacks.

For indoor comfort, they have enough room for private birthday celebrations for all ages and even allow you to rent their rooms for a holiday or private events.

Xtreme Action Park (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

You’ll find that Xtreme Action Park is a mix of everything under the sun within this indoor extreme sports center. Even though the karts are gas-powered they have made their track area as fume-free as possible. The interesting part of this park is that it includes escape rooms that are great for those who like solving clues requiring teamwork. If you do bring younger kids, they’ll be more interested in the arcade and laser tag along with the go-karts.

They do make this place well suited for birthdays and have a lot of appeal for older kids older than 8 years old.

Serious go-kart drivers will enjoy what this location has to offer with an outdoor track that’s meant for racing and competition. You can bring your own kart since there are no rentals at this track. You don’t need to make reservations if you bring your kart to attend daily races. They also offer repair services if your kart breaks down and will be a starting point for kids who want to learn to be better go-kart racers.

As expected, you’ll also need to bring your own DOT-rated helmets and race gear attire.

Boomers (Boca Raton, Florida)

This is a total outdoor fun park that has a good selection of outdoor activities. It’s worth mentioning that their go-karts are gas-powered and come in two styles. You might want to bring a hat as nearly all their attractions aren’t covered, so sunny days can be hard on little kids. The only attraction that is covered is the bumper cars and the Boomers Backyard area that also doubles as the café area.

Their party rooms are also indoors so any birthdays or special events are inside air-conditioned rooms.

OTHER THINGS TO DO THERE: Full theme park fun, Laser tag, Bumper cars, Mini golf, Batting cages, Arcade. Thankfully there are two types of go-karts for very small kids and bigger kids so no one gets left out. Kids will also love the other attractions but won’t be a good place if the weather is too hot.

Fun Depot (Lake Worth, FL)

Fun Depot is an indoor venue with go-karts located outside, but other than that it’s great when the weather isn’t too overwhelming. Their laser tag area covers 4000 square feet and it is one highlight that little kids will enjoy in addition to arcade-style games. Their café includes hotdogs and pizza for the kids and a slew of other goodies that will appeal to teens and adults too.

While Fun Depot isn’t the biggest place for fun and games, it does have a nice combination of attractions to make an afternoon worthwhile.

OTHER THINGS TO DO THERE: Arcade, Laser tag, In-house café. This go-kart course is outdoors and can be too hot on muggy days. It’s one of the few where mommies can take their toddlers (3-years) with them on go-cart rides.

76 Golf World (Stuart, FL)

In addition to their Krazy Kars, this is an impressive Mecca for mini-golf fans which also includes sporting activities that are loads of fun for older kids and teens. Adults will love the sentimental attraction to this golf course that’s complete with whimsical scenes at each hole. Their Krazy Kars attraction is powered by air, so these float on a cushion of air-powered by gas-powered engines. Keep in mind the entire park is outdoors except for the party and arcade areas.

OTHER THINGS TO DO THERE: Krazy Kars, Batting cages, Driving range, Arcade, Spider climbing cage, Jump shot basketball, 18-hole Mini golf course. This is primarily a great mini-golf course range with added attractions that include go-karts. It’s great fun for the whole family who wants a little bit of everything.

Piquet Race Park (Loxahatchee Groves, FL)

Piquet-Race-Park

The only disadvantage that Piquet Race Park has is their go-kart track is not completely finished. They don’t have any current updates but are expected to complete their track sometime this year, 2021. All of their other attractions are open to the public including a Formula 1 museum that is pretty impressive. One of the only places where you can find axe-throwing that probably isn’t on any parent’s wish list for teen fun.

They recommend that you check back or inquire with a phone call to get the latest updates on when their go-kart track will be up and running.
