Miami Lakes – Independence Day Celebration, Concert and Fireworks Show (FREE)

The Town of Miami Lakes and its Cultural Affairs Committee will be hosting its 16th annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration. In light of Covid-19, there will be some changes to our regular programming:

This year, residents are asked to watch the fireworks from the safety of their homes. The fireworks will be launched from the following two sites: Graham Dairy Lake and Miami Lakes Optimist Park. The display will also be live streamed to accommodate residents who cannot view either location from their homes.

Miami Lakes residents can look forward to a friendly neighborhood competition for Independence Day. Residents are asked to participate in All-American BBQ Cookouts from home and tag photos on Instagram with “@Town_of_Miami_Lakes” and “#AllAmericanBBQML.” The picture which features the best-looking food will receive a $25 gift card to Home Depot, courtesy of the Town of Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee so bring out the grill and get snapping.

Miami Lakes residents will also see banners of flags lining Miami Lakes Drive to complement the Military Tribute Banners which honor local veterans and were sponsored by Miami Lakes Automall for Memorial Day.
